Trudy Haussmann has been working in the financial service industry since 1985. She graduated with bachelor's degrees in economics and political science from the University of California, Los Angeles. She holds the designation of Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®) from the College for Financial Planning, and is a Registered Principal with Securities America, Inc.
As president and owner of Haussmann Financial, Trudy meets the needs of a variety of business owners, individuals and retirees. She focuses on asset allocation analysis, retirement planning, insurance and investment advice. With the CFP® designation, Trudy is bound by ethical standards to provide advice free of conflicts. She educates her clients on how to anticipate the challenges of volatile financial markets, low interest rates or potential income tax increases. She designs financial plans to protect her client’s savings from future expenses like long-term medical care. Trudy strives to understand, through comprehensive communication, each client's financial goals and needs and gives each client the personal attention necessary for a successful, enjoyable and positive investment experience. Knowledgeable, dedicated and ethical, Trudy works toward fulfilling the objectives of her clients and has developed a highly successful practice by building long-term relationships.
Trudy belongs to various professional organizations including the Financial Planning Association, where she has served as the President of the Orange County Chapter, the Institute of Certified Financial Planners™ and the International Board of Standards and Practices for Certified Financial Planners™. She shares her expertise by frequently conducting seminars for corporations and nonprofit groups on the subjects of retirement planning, tax reduction strategies, insurance applications and college funding. Trudy shares her full, balanced life with her husband, Bob and their 4 children in Laguna Hills, CA, where she keeps bees, plants an organic garden, and rides the family horse.
